This is Agnes Carter who married Robert Bentham. She died in 1998 at the ripe old age of 102.
Agnes ,my mother’s aunt.had daughter also Agnes,I saw them every week whe they visited.One of her brothers was Tom,also close to my family.I wonder if your photo of Gomer was their father.My mother was Evelyn Carlisle daughter of Annie .hope I’m on the right track regards David
Nice to hear from you David, yes you are bang on the money, definitely the same family. Gomer Carter is Agnes's older brother, their parents were James and Jane Carter (Kendrick)they lived at 15 School Street in Wigan. Hope all is well, Barry.
