The sea looks really blue for Blackpool and I bet it was cold. Crew cuts, woolly trunks and goosebumps...what simple pleasures to enjoy.

Happy days.I remember the vehicle in the background that took you out to the boat trips.There were also boat trips from one of the piers.The sea does look inviting but it never was.

It sure looks that way DTease - Wish I had the same 'belly' today, though. I don't remember the photo having been taken yet was very pleased when cousin David showed me the original about two year's ago - He kindly had it colourised for me at a shop in Ashton or Wigan. Thanks.

Whups, His surname is Littler. His dad, Albert, had worked at one of the local mines in the 50s/60s. He looks like his dad.
