auntie alice and uncle martin used to live in bird street but then for as long as i can remember they lived in the middle cottage in factory fold ince. it was a 2 up 2 down with an outside loo. uncle martin used to work at locke press goldborne i think whilst auntie alice worked at rappaports/casuals in anderton street. they are quite young on this.

I remember the cottages in Factory Fold,they always looked really nice. We used to go that way to my Auntie and Uncle;s in Thirlmere Avenue.

I remember Factory Fold too; it was so picturesque. I used to go up there with Christine Shirley to her Grandma Dutch's in Windermere Road and to my Aunty and Uncle, Rachel and Harry Aspey who lived further up than the Dutch's.
