Sadly Jackie died not long ago. Both he and Irene were great Wigan Rugby fans. Irene did the school crossing at St John's New Springs For a long Time.

Lovely photo of uncle Jackie and Aunty Irean they were lovely spoke to uncle Jackie a couple of years back, Irean had passed then, just as I remember them both on the photo. I remember when Our Debbie passed shame with Cancer. She married her sweet heart before she passed while she was very sick Bless her. Do you hear from Lesley his other daugher? Will catch up on FB

Jackie and Irene used to follow Wigan Rugby religiously home and away. I have an old VHS Tape somewhere of Irene being interviewed before one game.
Jackie has appeared more than once on Picture-of-the-Day. He was one of the old chaps who used to meet up at Haigh Hall almost every day for a natter about the world and its problems. Sadly most of them are gone now.
