Ken Hall on his fruit and vegetable stall in the old Wigan market hall in December 1987 just prior to closure of the building.
Married my cousin Dorothy (deceased). Raised 3 children Janet, Julie and Peter on Park Road near Gidlow Lane. Lost track of them after we moved to Canada in the 60's. Would welcome any info about them.

Ken is still living in Park Road.
Sadly his son, Michael passed away a couple of years ago. He was only in his early 50's.

Thanks Ian. After 50+ yrs I even had names wrong. Ken must be a very senior citizen and I'm no youngster. I'll bet he is still a patron of the "Pagie".

He had two sons, David
Alas, the Pagey is shut now but the building and bowling green are still there.

My daughter Catherine worked for ken in the old market and when he moved into the new market

What a great photo of such a lovely man.
Sadly Ken died in 2019.
