Ribbons appear to be following. From left as viewed-

1) Queen Victoria's Medal for Sudan 1899.
2) Queen Victoria's Medal for South Africa 1899 - 1902.
3) King Edward's Medal for South Africa 1901 - 1902.
4) Not able to positively ID - possibly Khedives Sudan
Medal 1899 ( colours would have helped, but ribbon
should be a little wider.)

The uniform is that worn for start of WW1. If you have a name and Army No: (No; MAY confirm his Regt.) Ancestry could hold his Medals Information Card which might confirm the above awards, together with his medal entitlement for WW 1. (Lancs Fusiliers is what I would go for if he was a local man.)
