Maurice,The " Daughter?" of J Blackburn who went to Warrington Lane School at the same time as me was a couple of years younger than me, and I was 24 in 1958

Thanks for the info AB,so Molly was only 3 years older than me,it's almost 58 years ago and it was only the other photo's of before and after of Walmsley St which prompted me to ask.

AB and Maurice just a bit of info about Molly and Jean.Molly was born in 1914 so would be 44 in 1958,and would be 102 now !!! Jean was born in 1935 and she married Frank Bate. James Blackburn the photographer was my granddad

Thank's Joan,I thought 23 was very young for Molly,but I don't remember her at all,it was a long time ago,and unlike today we let Vartys arrange the buffet,photographer and flowers,communication was difficult in those years.

Molly Blackburn was my Nan, she was the first Photographer in Wigan, see lived in Darlington Street all her life until she pass away on 1st July 2000 at the age of 86.
