MY MOTHERS BROTHER 'JACK' CARED FOR FAMILY AFTER FATHER DIED IN 1911, WW1 ARMY IN FRANCE LOOS, VIMMY. THINK HE HAD SON ALBERT, DAUGHTERS WERE KATHLEEN AND DOROTHY. DIED AT 38 MALVERN CRESCENT, BURIED ASHURST FAMILY GRAVE IN INCE CEMETARY.

I am Kathleen eldest daughter of Albert Ashurst. My grandfather John who was married to Alice was a soldier in the First World War . Could you tell me who Jack was and who was the father who died in 1911. are you the Jeanette daughter of Jack and Bertha.

Are you any relation to William
Ashurst who lived in scholfield lane Wigan opposite the spotted cow ?he was my grandad my grandma was jane dentist my dad was born in 1920 his name was John but everyone called him jack.
