Wigan Album

This James Aspey is my grandfather and had 2 surviving children who made it to adulthood. Luke was my father and Harold was his brother.Charlie Aspey is grandads brother they all lived in the Martland Mill area of Wigan.Charlie had 3 children, Irene, Maggie and Jack. Irene married into the Belshaw family who ran a funeral business. Dad often talked of Uncle Bill Holland whom I remember visiting as a child.
