Looks like this young man is out in India or some other warm place. That said, he seems to be unknown so we should remember him along with all the other unknown young men who died for this country in her hour of need.

Helen. Most probably Malaya, or that region, where a lot of British troops were stationed in the fifties.

In the fifties The army was stationed in the Middle East ( Egypt, Cyprus Aden ) with sand coloured uniform and the Far East with green coloured uniform ( Singapore,Hong Kong , and Malaya) From this photo the colour cannot be detrmined

Is this not the man seated in the middle, on the other 'NAAFI' photo? He certainly has a strong resemblance to him.
Looks like he might be wearing RAF tropical khaki drill.
