Probably be one of the late night, special occasion, Friday night dances. I cannot remember as to whether, or not, they had dinner dances at the Emp. I know they had them at Ince Public Hall. When I say late night, I mean they frequently finished at midnight.

Albert it could be Ince hall....I just thought it may be the Empire.....but I am not sure...... :)
