This is a picture of my mother and her parents. My Mum's name was Dorothy Birchall and her parents names were Harry and Lizzie Birchall....this picture was taken while they were on holiday and the year is some time during the mid 40s. They lived at 22 Junction Terrace Lower Ince. My Mum had a brother called Bernard.

They were Irene.....I loved my Grannie Lizzie and my Grandad was an angel in disguise......he would do anything for his grand daughters all three of us....and of course I miss my Mum.... :)

Irene, or anyone else who likes vintage clothing, I've seen lovely old clothes for sale at Cedar Farm at the Vintage Fair held every second Sunday of the month.Sadly not much use to me - everyone had a skinny waist then!

Also my Granny Lizzie was a seamstress.....the dress Mum is wearing Granny most likely made.... :)

Hello. My grandfather was Hugh Owen his sister lizzie married Henry(Harry) Birchall. They had a daughter Dorothy who married William Hayes. Any relation?

Hello Liz, I have a lovely photo in my family album of your grandmother carrying a baby at a family wedding. Considering the age of the photo I presume the baby is either you or one of your sisters. Would love make contact with you to compare photos. I am now living in Sydney.
