I remember her coming into the railway hotel in Appley Bridge with a snake in a box, I think she had been entertaining some of the Wigan pub landlords at a licensed victuallers do and some of the landlords brought her back to there for a night cap.

yvonne used to live next to the owd barn garage in standish lower ground, not sure if she is still there.

Bob I once went to that house dropping something off and I remember the woman who answered the door was good looking but didnt realize it was her.

She used to live in Caroline St, in the group of houses on the right at the Chapel Lane end.
I met her a spent some time chatting with her & the then mayor of Wigan, on the opening of Pier Car Sales opposite where she lived, quite a few years ago. Nice lass

The lads from work booked Yvonne (who was a strippogram at the time)for my stag do in 1984. A sight to behold in white stockings and basque. I stil have the photo's to remind me.

I remember she used to dance with another Yvonne (Strumer) on stage at various clubs. Knew her quite well ;-) if you get my drift

Just came across a couple of these news feeds about my Dad Dennis and my Auntie Yvonne. It's nice to see that their reputation is still going strong :-)

Yvonne is my cousin. I,ve lived in Canada the last 50 years. She had a family get together at the Bricklayers arms, when I was on vacation.
