I'm descended from Peter Aspey. You wouldn't believe how much alike Margaret Alice and myself are. I have the Aspey nose and chin!!! My gran was Mary Ann, daughter of Thomas.

my Dad Raymond and his Brother Barry were son's of Ernest Aspey who married Dorothy Ryding (Standish)Ernest died in WW2, his parents lived in Coppull and was called Mary and Joseph Aspey. I have never known any of the Aspey side of the family. Do these Names mean anything to any Aspey People.

My great grandfather was Peter ASPEY who married Margaret. My grandfather was Robert. The family was originally from Crawford Village.

I understand from Barry Aspey Snr that his family originated in Up Holland - Crawford Village. So could be the same family link.

Most of people in Wigan with the Aspey surname are related in some way. We all descend from the two related families that came from Prescott.
