One of these gents is the father my late mother-in-law ELSIE who's maiden name was ALMOND the photo was sent around 1943-47 as there is a mention of Sylvia who was the first daughter born 1942 and no mention of Marlene born 1947 Dick my father-in-law who gets a mention at the start of the letter was away in the War demobbed 1946 all the family is now deceased.

"Regarding the two gents in the photograph, the one on the right wearing the cap is my late uncle Jim. It is also the uncle of the late Elsie Almond because Elsie Almond was my cousin. The gent on the left must be Elsie's father who I never knew. Elsie Almond married a gent named Dick Burgess and they had two children, one named Silvia who married a gent named Derek Lee who is now deceased."
I am the eldest daughter of Marlene. Her and my dad James cooke had myself and sister Joanne. Elsie and Duck were our grandparents
