I remember Kitty and Jimmy, and, as I have related before, was in The Inn with my parents on the night they left and my Mam was in tears at Jimmy's farewell speech. I worked there in later years for Dick and Lilian Seddon. I wish pubs were as civilised today.
They are Irene, go in some Weatherspoons lovely and clean with not many rowdy young males about. But I take your point.
You are having a laugh!!!!! Go in The Moon in Wigan;full of prams; screaming kids; screaming parents, can't say mothers; and other undesirables!!! What happened to a decent pint in the afternoon? You could go in the Park, or Market Hotel, meet traders etc? Not being subjected to a kindergarden of wha tthey noe say ADH!!!!!!
How about a trip to the Boars Head Irene?
Suits me, but I'll be on the right side of the bar this time!
Boars Head bites the dust, it's closed along with the rest of um.
irean yu'll be out side front door, its shut.
Never in the memory of man is the Boars Head shut, i came past less than 10 minutes ago. In fact the car park was full to capacity.
