my nan and grandad are only 22 years of age in this picture , very mature looking for 22 years old .i guess the years of hard graft down the pit from the age of 14 can make a lot of people grow up quick .

Lovely picture, your grandfather does look older than his years, not so sure about your nan she looks quite young, they look so happy with young Frank.

But James..if you pictured your Grandad with a tee shirt and modern hairstyle..he would only look young,it's all to do with the fashion at the time...and your was bonny wasn't she.

i see what you mean if he had modern clothes on but he looks a lot smarter in his suit wich most young people these days dont even own a pair of pants lol

I am a member of Banbridge weight Training Club, there has been many famous person and Bodybuilders visit our we club, like Frank Zane Arnold etc, but one guy stands proudly on the wall of our Gym and it Mr Frank Richards.
I dont know if you will ever read this, but i thought i give it a try, in a country torn by troubles, bombs and murders, Banbridge Weight training club has and is a meeting place for all sides of the comunity, even trough the troubles.
It has been a inspiration to all and Frank Richards has been our most loved Bodybuilder, he visited our club many years ago, and left an amazing impression.
We are a small self run club, after all dues are paid and equiptment brought up to date all profits go to charity.
This year later in the year we celebrate our 50th year, and to mark this we are having a dinner, and music.
I know i have no hope, but i love our we club its a family to me away from home, i wish Frank Richards could come and spend the weekend and be guest of honour at our Dinner.
I love the history of our club, and i would love to meet Frank and hear his amazing tales.
I have been a competitive Bopdybuilder for some time now, and i love the sport.
Frank you have been my inspiration for years, you have helped me achive imposible goals, and inspired me to come back to the Gym after a faital accident on 19th November 2011, and from multiple life treatning Seizures.
I tell no one, but every time i come into the gym i look at the picture of a Gentleman well loved and highly thought of in our club, it helps me train, and appreciate my luck and good health!
Please if you get this Frank come, the guys would love it, and i would be amazed, we get you place to stay etc.
