Here he is with two of his nephews from Chatham - which was where he came from. He was a boy soldier in WW1, was wounded & was sent to balckpool for recovery which is where he met my Mum

It would be Springs branch, I didn't take the photo, probably his brother did.
I've got one just like this in my front garden if anyone seriously wants to stand on it and reminisce.
