WHAT I ask have these two photos got to do with Wigan????? I despair of some of the photographs people put on the site. Of NO INTEREST TO ANYONE If you want to show photos like this put them on facebook.

Christine Fishwick is a Wigan girl who was travelling the world. I thought this was a place to paste photos of people from or in Wigan.

She may have originated from Wigan.

Bit of a snotty comment that True Wiganer, you may not know Christine, but a lot of people do. She is a Wiganer and these photo's WILL be of interest to people who know her. I found these evocative. It shows a willingness to spread your wings in places far from Wigan sometimes, but always know where you belong. They're great photo's Michael, more power to you and great quality, don't be put off about uploading stuff.

Why are people so nasty. This is an interesting photo some 40 years old.

Lovely picture,I also agree, reading the comments above that occasionally we need to see other pictures. As said if you are not interested don't look. Pleasant as though collery winding gear and views of streets are to jog a memory other shots, especially of people and the fashions of the time recall people past to those who do not live in and around Wigan.
