Cracking photo that Jennifer. Just as I remember him, not changed from 25 years earlier..
it is a brilliant photo and I think many people will remember him just like this. It is how I like to remember him. I think I might have the year wrong though; it is probably round 1975.
Your not far out Jennifer. iit brings back of you and your family. your dad was a gentleman, as you know i went in the shop for my dinner every day, and saturday was special, fish and chips from Gray's gidlow lane.

i was sad to hear about your husband Jim. after not seeing him for many years, i saw him in town, and he said to come and visit, and then days later i heard he had died.it must have been a great shock. he was good to me and i will always remember him look after yourself. David

what a lovely man I remember getting my ice skates from the shop in Mesnes st. He used to come to Lake house at wrightington and I remember Philip having a helicopter at my sister Paulines farm in Newburgh
