This picture was taken on the 25th of May 1946 at All Saints Chapel,Hindley of my dad and mam,Joseph Jackson and Edith Walker..My mams two bridesmaids were..on the left a close friend of hers and on the right my auntie Amelia Buckley ( nee Walker).The elderly lady to the right is my grandmother Rosannah Walker (nee Slater).The men standing at the back left to right are...my uncle Sam Jackson, my granddad James Thomas Walker and my uncle Alf Edge.
