This bathing belle is Mary Patricia Mort of 4 Bridge Street, Golborne, photo taken at Southport, between 7th and 24th May 1937. Look closely and you'll see she seems to have a box Brownie number 2. In 1943 she married William Longmate and went being a farmer's wife at Close Lane Farm up by Hindley Green.
Hi Angus, I love this pic. The lady in it is my nan. My dad is William. It's amazing to see my nan in her younger days. My dad was born in Bolton in 1943 so I suspect they moved to the farm a year or so later. By the way the P stands for Pauline not Patricia. Thank you for posting this.
