The three of us at home......remember sitting in that chair when the news that President Kennedy had been shot.My Dad, David and Robert had gone to the pictures near the Grapes the4 other side of tontine. Seems like just yesterday looking at this colour photo.

Great photo Martin, I can remember us having a fireplace with the oven on like that. If you told kids today you had a oven on your fireplace they would look at you like you'd gone mad.
Can still remember my parents having a coal fire with an oven in their 1st house at Morris rd they changed the fireplace when I was 5 in 1969 & agen just b4 I left school in 1980.
