Crompton's put on a Pantomime every year mainly for orphaned children. This one was Aladdin, my Dad, Joe, was the resident Widow Twankey.
He is 3rd from right standing on the top photo and in the centre of the three sitting on the bottom photo.
The cast always received boquets of flowers and Dad would pass this to Mum who would be sitting on the front row with my two brothers, Brian and Terry and myself.

Hi Ged,
So glad you got to see this as you were involved. I have a few more pics from that time, I'll look through them and see if there are any other than on stage. You never know.
Good Times!!

I ALSO HAVE THE SAME PICTURES. I WORKED IN THE BOX SHOP AT THE RECORD MILL AT THE TIME OF THE PANTO, WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER. I WORKED YEARS LATER IN THE OFFICES IN GERARD STREET

The girl in the top photo fourth from the left is my cousin Sheila Wood who used to live in Haydock before moving to Downall Green. her father was James Wood who worked for Cromptons for many years if not all his working life.
