I remember Len and Agnes, my dad was Jim Lewis, he used to help behind the bar in the late sixties early seventies. We moved out of the area in 1972.

Can anyone tell me why it was called the drum & monkey. I lived in Nicol Road from 1964 until the houses were demolished in 1979. My mum & dad was Meg and Jack Belshaw

From what I can remember the old north ward Labour club was set back behind a patch of grass we used to call the croft it was a black building with a corrugated roof I don't know when it closed down the new club was built on Nicola road where the flats are now
