My brother and sister with my Dad. Crown Inn miry lane. I was born in this pub, but know nothing about it.
i think this was opposite toppings shop just before the bridge

I think my great aunt Annie Holgate kept this pub circa 1920

It was next door to No. 72 where the Peugot garage is now.
My granddad & grandma moved to the crown from taylor st and moved to York st when Ste was ill their names were Stephen and lily Wharton and my great grandma peters lived opposite
My Grand parents lived next door to this pub, and then my aunt and uncle it had steps going up to it and yes it eas over the road from toppings a bit lower down
