The plaque bearing the names in whose honour the reredos had been installed in the church. It is believed that this picture was taken at the time that the reredos and plaques were dedicated on July 9th, 1921. They were unveiled by Sir JS Harmood-Banner, and dedicated by the Bishop of Liverpool. The plaque did not stay in this position, behind the font. At some stage it was removed and placed on the wall to the right. This may have taken place when the Girls' Guild paid for a cover for the font, with hovering dove suspended above, as their memorial to the fallen. Unfortunately, this obscured the view of the plaque.
