The grocers shop on the postcard was owned by Mr Taberner
in the 1940s.He used to call me "Dolly Oxo" when I visited his shop with my grandmother.
This photograph pre dates Mr Tabener, Evelyn.
It was originally John Rigbys.
After Mr Tabener i think several people took over.
One of them was i think Harry Dicconson as a bakery.
Harry now lives in Mill Lane after the the row of houses on the left near the 'Slacks'.
