Ivor's dad's name was Hughie and he was a professional cellist in the pit orchestra at the County Playhouse before the advent of talking pictures.He met his wife there when she was a cashier in the paybox. The centre house of the terrace to the rear of the photo was home to Betty Driver's dad (Coronation St's Betty Turpin.) He was village bobby there.

The end house of that terrace,( the far end)was occupied by Eric Wilcox & his grandad( we knew him as Jackie Hart) that was around 1927/33
