I remember that farmhouse, we used to pass it regularly walking from Landgate to Platt Bridge. I also remember when they renovated it in the late 80s. Me and my friend went in and has a look and it was quite stunning with a large galleried landing and huge farmhouse kitchen

I lived in the first part of this house in 1953,when it was two seperate houses.Farmers called Mountford lived in the other part.

i helped on that farm in 1960 the openshaw family lived in one half of the house mrs openshaw disappeared around this time and to my knowledge was never seen again

We lived in this farm house 1963-1970.
