An image rescued from a rather yellowed old negative of a Dalescroft Railfans shed visit to Springs Branch on 20/8/1972.

the window to the right of the yellow diesal was the bosses office if I remember right, stood on the carpet there once or twice when I fired for old Harry Heyes

Aitch, what about the glass hut window also,the drivers and firemans messroom next to the bosses( Jimmy Houghs ) window.
I've now found the original print taken from this negative. The print has the loco details recorded on the back. The class 25 was number 5258. Of the 4 class 08 shunters visible three were numbers 3782, 3425 & 3538.
