I love all these photos Sandra, would your house be about opposite where the shops are now? Also is that Poolstock Lane in the background?

Yes that is Poolstock Lane in the background I didn't live in Carr Lne this is one of my husbands photo's the location is past the shops about halfway down towards poolstock lane I am happy that you are enjoying the photo's

Hi Sandra, what number at Carr Lane would this have been taken at?? I live at number 41 and it looks like it could have been near my house!

Hi, this photo was taken in 1969, the woman is Cath Webster and the 2 kids are me and my brother, Paul Scott on the right leaning on the wheel barrow and on the left is my younger brother david we both lived at 39 Carr Lane.
