An old postcard, published by Peter Lee & Sons, 81 Wigan Road, New Springs. Rev. F.C. Wallis was inducted as Vicar of St Elizabeth's in June 1912. The postcard may have been published to commemorate this.

A beautiful church, Donald Pankhurst was the first vicar I remember, a lovely man

The Vicar Eric Olaf Beard christened me in 1937 at St. Elizabeth's.
Chorister 1943 to about 1958 Mainly with Rev Olaf Beard
