You send some good and lovely photos of some of my favourite places D Tease thanks it bring a lot of good memories back for me when I was a young child.

I haven't been to Rivington Pike and the television transmitter a mile from there that is exactly 1000 feet high for two years. There are execllent views from the pike where buildings in Wigan can be seen. Also to Chorley, Southport, Preston, Blackpool and on a clear day the Welsh and Lake District mountains.
