I wonder if its still standing or gone the way of many Wigan buildings....a grand house in its day.

I could never understand why this was left and the other buildings with the rate office and police station was left to rot. It looks very nice as a restaurant. Just think what the other buildings could have been made into.

Yes Helen, It's still standing, It's been refurbished and is now an Italian restaurant.

The building looks much better today as well.
