With reference to Rev.David Long photo #30750,this shot was taken on 16th January 2008. I was the contractor's Health & Safety Adviser for the flood defence works being carried out during 2007-2010.
I think network rail were carrying out structural repairs to the parapets.Does the flood defence walls protect the area?

There isn't a wall there, it looks to have been taken down
