Even the snowman is smiling! ;o))
He was smiling, sure enough, Veronica, but it was a pity about that bit of treacle toffee that got stuck in his mouth.
Snowy does look as if he's chewing treacle toffee - definitely looks part of the gang! Bet he was still there in the morning waiting for ya'll as well...!
Veronica.
I'm sure you'll recall my mention of Terence's 'Get your Fish and Chips from Peggy's' advert, which he inserted in our matchday programme for the Crank game during the late fifties.
Well, I was recently reminded about the origin of the nickname bestowed upon another member of our gang ('not included in this photo').
Jasper, despite being a non sporty type, had been given the task of refereeing that game, and after successfully denying any connection with our team members, introduced himself as - the 'completely' fictitious - Jasper Melling.
The Bash Street Kids couldn't have played it out any better.
Thanks.
One word Philip- 'Ingenious'!
