These three buildings were standing in 1871 but by 1881 they had been demolished. On the right in 1871 at no.,115 Standishgate was Robert Smith aged 34 who was a Printer and Inn Keeper of the Bold Arms, next door at 117 was David Hague, a Postman and Shoemaker, aged 49 (both born in Wigan) and at 119 was Richard Hilton aged 61, a Clogger and Shopkeeper born in Aspull, this shop was "adjoining" St Mary's Chapel Yard.

I meant to mention that this photo was taken before 1881 but how how much more before is impossible to say.

Complete guess - the photo was taken a year either side of 1874 - based on the ages of the household in 1871.

I should have added, based on the figures in the doorway at the Bold Arms and the 1871 Census.
