I suspect these great photos would have appeared in the Post & Chronicle, but they never were that clear in the paper. They always seemed as though the photos were taken in fog. Nice set of pics.

The Warrington 660 was my bus home to Abram. My son always had a sudden thirst when we got to the Baked Potato Café! x.

When I worked at Boon's chemist I used to catch the 59 bus to Westhoughton on this side in the early 70's. I remember in the mid 60's running all the way from Scholes after missing the coach to Euxton ROF to catch the Chorley bus on the other side. What a palaver that was!
