Iam interested in the positioning of the planned Library in relation to the houses in Market Street. My grandmother was born at 100 Market Street in 1888 on Sept13. Was the library built on the site of these houses or was it sited somewhere nearby after the houses were demolished? Any help would be appreciated.

What a sin and a shame it is what has been allowed to happen to this building,we were always in the library during wet summer hols in the early 1960s,I think it also had a small museum. I suppose kids today have more technical hobbies to fill there time with these days.
