Beautiful photograph. The snow adds to the serenity. The trackbed is long gone and there are no trains. But I think I hear the ghostly whistle of a Brit coming up from the south...I look behind and there is silence...

That wouldn't be you by any chance would it Jarvo, the abstract poet that comes on p.a.d. from time to time using the pseudonym ' From Somewhere ' or something along those lines ?. I detect a certain similarity in the prose.

Philip: The photograph is very nice and enticing when you look down the track (that was) it is a picture frame, and if you open up the zoom I'am sure that's the image of a train coming down the line, or my be just a tree.
