Hi uncle fester,yes our John is still with us,see him quite often.I agree it does look like Sammy knowles,but he was quite a bit smaller than the other lads on here,so don,t think its him.Haven,t spoken to our John yet,trying to figure out who you are,I'll see if he knows.
