Ann I've just put a map 1895, on the site showing the location of Shevington Old Hall I'm sure this is the same building..

You would need to look at the Electoral roll(If they had them?) or the census forms.

What an idyllic time! The Great War had ended and trips abroad were planned...Italy and Provence on the schedule of places to see! Tea and croquet being played on the lawn. Jazz and Noel Coward on the phonograph. What a time to be a Wiganer!

Mr Albert James Martland, farmer, and his family lived here 1911 census.

THE HALL WAS SITUATED AT THE BOTTOM OF MILES LANE AND WAS DEMOLISHED WHEN THE M6 MOTORWAY WAS BUILT IN 1961
