Thanks Keith, personally I don't think Swinley House is the answer, I am still puzzled by the stream in a small valley.

I think they still form part of the Bellingham Club's Bowling Green.

I think Bellingham Bowling Club is a little way up from the football field, starting at the top of the pitch

Football ground was known as Coppull Lane and was home to Wigan Nondescripts
