Found in the books/ antiques shop behind Chorley bus station this morning - seems a bit upmarket for Platt Bridge! Perhaps made at the time the church was built in 1904.
Priced at £6 - so I left it for a Platt Wazzer to find.

did you use to visit a mary birchall in cullen close on your round of church work.??
Considering the worst memories I have of growing up in Platt Bridge were of the time I spent as a pupil at St. Nats., this would be the last thing I would buy.

My Grandma would have loved that jug. She never missed a service at St Nathaniels.
