My Dads Auntie lived in Vine Grove which is opposite off Chapel St.on the left,old gas lamp on the wall.

What was your dads aunties name as I used to live on Vine Grove,we moved away in 1961

Hi Pauline, sorry its taken so long to reply. Dads Auntie lived in the last house on the left in Vine Grove,i only knew her as Auntie Maggie.

My grandfather Henry Derbyshire was born at 3 Vine Grove back in 1886 and in 1891 all my relatives are there - Thomas (my g grandfather), Elizabeth (my g grandmother), Annie, Alice, Jane, Maggie, William and Henry. Can't believe all that is left is some cobblestones on the road now - thanks for posting this picture - it's the nearest I can get to imagining what it was like there!
