Imagine what it must have been like, all that horse cack! Eeeeee but it were all far better in them days!! Perhaps the Council should spread 1/2 a ton of it around the Galleries once a week, just for sentiment of course.

With the exception of the Market Hall Henry, most of the buildings are still standing. They're just spoiled by plastic and glass store fronts now.

Absolutely love pictures like these they are priceless. This is the back of the Market Hall and yes the buildings are still there but have completely changed. Does any body have any pictures of old Poolstock or Chapel Lane? I would love to see them
