Wigan Album

I used to live at 64 Legh St. which is about 100 metres from the camera position. The Legh Arms was at the end of our row. The houses were demolished years ago but the Legh Arms was still standing although no longer a pub.

i used to have rugby practice on the sports field behind the memorial. i was attending the secondary school at the time. Parents left for South Africa in 1967.

Any one remember the Tattums who lived on Legh St....Dorothy was my girlfriend aged 9 at Junior School
