Standing 5th left is Stan Gaskell - a butcher at Hitchen Bros in Orrell. Worked with my dad.. got me the job as resident drummer with Elgar Mathews on Organ.

I, think the person on the far right is Jack Meadows he
used to work at Pemberton Caravans,and lived in Orrell.

The ist man standing on the left looks like the late Frank Carruthers.

Man in middle of back row with the light suit on I think is John(?) Heaton. Lived in Kitt Green

i believe the bloke kneeling middle front row is Bert May ,he was a welder at walmsley"s when i was a lad

orrell legion. i remember going there as akid on "family nights", fridays i think was good fun. then i grew up n went in quite regular, dont think my dad (brian lowe) was best pleased tho as he was a regular himself,

I was the resident organist there 1983,4,5 and a bit of 86.i think i recognise a couple of faces in the photo.

think that's Joe Berry 9th from left on back row who went on to be the steward. Bert May on front row and Stan Gaskell and Bill rostron are correct. I will remember a lot of the other names later and post what I can
