I believe this to be the winding engine that formed one of the Three Sisters. It was amongst my Dads old photos. He worked at Garswood Hall Colliery before, during and after WW2

I can remember watching it tip slag at the summit of the tallest of the three sisters. It stood derelict for ages after Garswood Hall closed.
